A night is more than one motion alert.

A warm lamp glowing in a dark living room corner at night
2:15 AM Movement noticed, no alert needed
Noticed, but not worth waking you
A phone held in dim evening light, its screen showing no notifications
Overnight 0 notifications, nothing needed you
Your phone stays silent for ordinary nights
A woman with her morning coffee reading last night's story on her phone
7:02 AM Last night’s story is ready. Nothing unusual.
The story waits for morning
The covered front entrance of a house at night, with a wooden front door and a lantern beside it
3:05 AM Front door opened, nudged right away
An unusual night reaches you right away
A still bedroom in soft early-morning light, the bed made and the night over
2:19 AM Back to bed, the trip lasted four minutes
A night reads as a story, not a pile of motion pings

The pattern matters more than one trip to the kitchen.

A single nighttime trip can wait for the morning summary. Repeated or unusual activity can reach you sooner.

FAQs
Will I get woken up every time my parent gets up? +
No. Ordinary night movement goes into the morning summary. Remy only nudges you at night if something looks genuinely unusual, and you control whether night nudges are on at all.
Does night awareness need a camera in the bedroom? +
No, and we don't recommend one. A hallway or shared-space camera is enough to notice that someone is up and moving. Where cameras go is entirely up to your family.
Is the night footage stored unblurred? +
Never. Night clips go through the same pipeline as everything else: faces of non-enrolled people are blurred before analysis or storage, and the unblurred original is discarded.
Can Remy tell me if my parent didn't get up at all? +
Yes. An unusual absence of activity, a morning with none of the usual kitchen movement, is one of the situations Remy can flag for your attention.

Sleep through the ordinary nights. Know about the unusual ones.
