Get the cameras you need
Use any Ring cameras you already own. If you need a new one, get the Indoor Cam 2K and choose the number that matches the coverage you want.
Set them up in Ring
Plug each camera in, add it in the Ring app, and connect it to the home’s Wi-Fi.
Add Remy
Open Remy in the Ring App Store, connect the camera, and choose the activity and changes you want Remy to notice.

Which Ring camera should I buy? +
Get the Ring Indoor Cam 2K. It is Ring’s highest-resolution indoor model, records at 2560 × 1440, and plugs in so there are no batteries to recharge.
How many Ring cameras do I need? +
One or two cameras can cover a main living space. If you want full coverage across the home, plan on roughly one camera per room. Remy is priced per connected camera.
Can I use a Ring camera I already own? +
Yes. Remy works with all Ring cameras, so there is no need to replace a camera you already own.
What do I need besides the camera? +
You need a power outlet, reliable Wi-Fi, the Ring app, a Ring account, and a Ring subscription that saves motion clips. Remy is a separate subscription added through the Ring App Store.
Does Remy watch a continuous live feed? +
No. When the Ring camera records a motion event, Remy analyzes that clip and adds useful context to the timeline. There is no continuous live feed inside Remy.
Does this replace an emergency service? +
No. Remy is a reassurance tool. It can flag something for you to review, but it does not diagnose a condition, guarantee that every event will be detected, or contact emergency services.
